The community is invited to join the Oxford School District (OSD) at the table for a healthy conversation about child nutrition during the Second Annual Lunch Tray Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. The free, community-friendly event, hosted by the OSD Child Nutrition Department, is from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Oxford Middle School cafeteria, 222 Bramlett Boulevard, Oxford.

The event will feature a complimentary, heart-healthy meal and free cookbook for the first 300 who complete online event registration.

During the community event, school officials will introduce parents to new programs within the district’s child nutrition department and share upcoming news on the expanded global school menu which will be unveiled in November. The American Heart Association will also provide a fun, interactive program about healthy eating.
