Welcome to Oxford High School for the 2014-2015 school year. We anticipate another outstanding year. The OHS faculty is excited to meet the incoming freshmen class as well as our returning sophomores, juniors and seniors. Oxford High School has always been a dynamic place for learning. Oxford High School won the third annual Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi “Text to Win” contest in the 5A competition against Laurel. The Oxford Chargers had the most texts and will receive a $1,000 check from Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi designated for the school’s physical education program. Oxford High School (OHS) students reading their personal literary works can be heard across Mississippi Public Broadcasting (MPB) airwaves now and into next year during the radio show Rural Voices Radio.
Oxford High School students bring words to life each year during Poetry Out Loud, a national recitation contest for students in grades in nine through 12.
The OHS yearbook staff still have 2014 and previous years editions of the Flashback yearbook for sale. The 2014 edition is $60 per copy, while previous years editions can be purchased for $20 each. Checks are to be made payable to “OHS Yearbook.” Cash payments will be accepted.
